The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) age range is changing to include children younger than 9. This change will be rolled out over the next two years, starting on July 1, 2023. The ECEI approach is a holistic approach to supporting children with disabilities and their families. It provides early intervention services to help children with developmental delays or disabilities to reach their full potential. The change to the ECEI age range will mean that more children will be able to access the support they need at a younger age.
